However, car recalls are inevitable, and now, two new ones are impacting Ford vehicles. One concerns a braking issue, and the other deals with parking. Ford has two separate car recalls impacting several of its most popular vehicles

It’s rare for an automaker to issue two separate car recalls within a single announcement. However, that is the case with some of Ford’s most popular models. According to Reuters, the first of the two impacts 123,611 units due to the potential of fluid leaks. Specifically, this is a safety concern because these leaks could compromise braking performance and result in a longer stopping distance. This could easily lead to car accidents if drivers cannot stop soon enough to avoid collisions. Auto mechanics at dealerships will fix either the master cylinder or the brake booster.

This car recall includes the following:

• 2017-2018 Ford F-150
• 2017-2018 Ford Expedition
• 2017-2018 Lincoln Navigator

The second of the two car recalls impacts 24,655 units of the 2025 Ford Explorer. The problem is that the powertrain control module (PCM) could reset while driving. If it happens, this malfunction could damage the SUV’s park system or cause the engine to stall. Fortunately for drivers, this issue can be resolved with a software update. The automaker will send official notification letters near the end of May. Still, these are some of the best cars to buy, especially since Ford is proactively fixing these issues.
