There’s no shame in being confused by new SUVs. If you haven’t purchased a modern vehicle in a few years, you might be surprised by their advances. However, the internet had no patience for a woman when she was confused about how to put gas in her new Honda CR-V.
The internet roasts women for being confused about the Honda CR-V
First of all, congratulations to Krystal for getting a new Honda CR-V! I hope she’s happy with her purchase, despite admitting to being confused and getting yelled at by the internet.
As she went to put gas in her SUV, she had to call her fiancé for help. She was confused by the lack of fuel cap. Krystal was filming herself and explained that the gas tank didn’t have a lid or anything.
Eventually, she decided to just put the gas nozzle in the opening of the capless gas tank and said, “I just figured it just goes in here.”
Then she went viral due to frustrating viewers as instructions were clearly placed on the label inside of the fuel door, right in front of her.
Viewers asked if she needed to go back to school since reading the label only takes five seconds and if people read car manuals anymore. They pointed out how the capless gas filler label is right by the tank. At least she admitted that she was confused.
According to Motor 1, capless gas tanks have a flap that automatically opens when you insert the nozzle. There is no lid to unscrew or lose. They reduce fuel spills, odors, and the risk of scratching paint with a loose cap.
