Police officers in Austin, Texas need help finding a truck thief. It’s wild that this man is still at large because he keeps going to car club meetups to show off his stolen ride. He stole a Ram dually while armed with a handgun and isn’t lying low.

Armed Texas man steals truck to show off at car clubs

While stealing is bad, I can identify with the joy that comes with bragging about a truck. However, it’s always better when it’s your pickup to show off.

One man in Austin, Texas, is getting the credit for owning a nice ride despite stealing and police officers need your help catching him.

It all started about a month ago around 8:45 PM at 3132 E. State Highway 71. Reportedly, the suspect was armed with a handgun and forced the victim to exit a Ram dually

Instead of laying low, the suspect immediately started to show off the heavy-duty build. He has been active in the car club community by attending meetups.

Unfortunately, the owner of the Ram won’t get his ride back in one piece. According to Fox 7, the suspect crashed the pickup at a meetup near the 4800 block of Distribution Drive. He then abandoned it.

Police officers shared that the suspect is a Hispanic male between 20 to 30 years old. He is about 5’6” with a medium build. The man was last seen in a dark red and gray hoodie with dark pants.
